AS 1.1 Verbal Language in Context involves understanding and applying verbal language in a variety of contexts. In this workbook, we explain the requirements of the Standard, and provide you with a variety of example contexts for you to try. The workbook can be used alongside the resources supplied by your teacher.

Sigma's workbook 'AS 1.1 Verbal Language in Context' is best bought before the standard is taught at school and used throughout this time as a classroom and homework resource. Alternatively, the workbook would make an excellent independent study resource in the lead-up to the internal assessment of Achievement Standard 1.1. 

Once completed, 'AS 1.1 Verbal Language in Context' provides a useful set of revision notes at assessment time. It can be kept as a reference book if students intend taking a Year 12 English  course.
